Abstract

The artisanal alcoholic beverages market in Mexico has seen significant growth in recent years, with artisanal mezcal establishing itself as a premium product valued for its authenticity and cultural heritage. This article examines how Mexican companies can differentiate themselves through sustainability, technological innovation, and product diversification, which are critical strategies for addressing the challenges of a competitive and regulated environment. Using analytical tools such as PESTEL and SWOT, the study identifies key opportunities and proposes a strategic framework to strengthen the position of these companies in both local and international markets. The conclusions highlight the importance of adopting responsible practices and advanced technology to meet modern consumer demands and ensure long-term business sustainability.
