Political identity in the context of the social outbreak in Chile: The case of university students in the municipality of Concepción

This article aims to analyze the processes of expression of the political identity of young university students in the city of Concepción that are channeled through the practices of collective actions since October 18, a period called the Chilean “social outbreak”.
The study has a qualitative nature, the information will be collected through semi-structured interviews, additionally it will use documentary sources such as photographs that relate to the events of 2019 in Chile and particularly in the city of Concepción. The data analysis was carried out using the content analysis method (Bardin, 2016). The results of the study allow us to show some of the attributes and characteristics of the expressions of the political identity of young people in the social outbreak in Chile.
