This article analyses part of the poetic production of Laura Conceição and Luz Ribeiro, multi-artists who make up the poetry slam movement in Brazil. Based on what their poems and performances offer us, I take a closer look at this form of spoken poetry, exploring its imbrications with the poets’ escrevivência, logosvivência and self-representation. Since we see the emergence, within this artistic-literary movement, of the voices of altered subjects, I focused on two women because they are traditionally individuals marked by silencing. By highlighting the heterogeneity and plurality of their bodies and identities, concepts such as decolonial feminism and intersectionality, among others, are fundamental to understanding the multiple issues that characterize the poetry of these slammers and poetry slams in Brazil.
