CARE MAP: INTERCONNECTING KNOWLEDGE FOR THE CREATIVE TRANSFORMATION OF REALITY

The text discusses the concept of care in a situated context, highlighting problems and potentialities in the process of listening to the territory and building situated public policies. The research focus is qualitative, and is used as a bibliographic and documentary research technique. In addition, an experience report on the application of a pilot of the Care Map methodology, applied during the teaching of the Course “The concept of care: theoretical matrices and emerging themes”, linked to the Department of Latin American Studies - ELA of the University of Brasília - UnB, in 2023. The Care Map is a participatory methodology, to identify the multiple meanings of care, the recognition of their local organization, in addition to demands and offers in the territory, supporting the construction of public policies. Finally, it highlights the importance of new methodologies for listening and co-construction of public policies within and for territories.
