Abstract

The objective of systematizing the Bible has been to comment on key words concerning physical units and, later, to have been ordered in eight themes. The methodology consisted of beginning to read from genesis, which from a total of sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament, thirty-six books were selected, among which sixty-four key words were chosen, which have been classified into ten for arithmetic, fourteen for the dimensions of Euclidean space, six for time, three for temperature, thirteen for capacity, seven for weight itself, five for weight as a commercial value, six for currency. It is concluded that there were no concepts for density, that there was an evolution of concepts for magnitudes of volume, weight for liquids, weight for solids and finally its relation with coins. The originality resides in the fact that it comments on a subject with scarce knowledge concerning the physical magnitudes reported in the first printed book of humanity
