The objective of this work is to gather information on the current situation of the population diagnosed with Bipolar Affective Disorder (BAD) in Chile, from the community itself, through an analysis of the different areas of social life in which they operate and which impact their overall well-being. This is done to provide a diagnosis of their problematic situations, proposing solutions in each case. Therefore, and methodologically, it constitutes an exploratory and descriptive study that exposes, in a synthetic way, the specific demands of the BAD population.
