Abstract

This study aimed to investigate how Psychology studies the migratory flows of foreigners to Brazil. For this purpose, a systematic review was carried out in the databases of the Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS) and the Biblioteca Virtual de Psicologia (BVS Psi Brasil), without restriction of year and language. Seventeen articles were selected and reviewed, analyzed in terms of the samples studied, the constructs investigated, the instruments and procedures for collecting and analyzing data and their theoretical references. A description of the most recurrent migratory flows in the analyzed studies was carried out. The results point to a diversity of nationalities that arrived in Brazil in the last 20 years, with emphasis on migrants from the African continent and Haitian migrants.
