Abstract

This work presents the linguist and content producer Janaísa Viscardi. She talks about her experiences as a pioneer in the scientific communication of linguistics in Brazil, specially on Youtube, where she has maintained a channel for almost 10 years, and about other platforms and social networks, with specific implications concerning to different audiences, formats and discursive genres in which language and linguistics are thematized for the general public.
