This study aims to analyze the epistemology of creativity in microeconomic and evolutionary thinking. Applying the semantic and ontological method, the research demarcates the psychodynamic and multidimensional elements linked to the theory of creativity that are present in the representation of the creative process exercised by individuals within the neoclassical and evolutionary microeconomy. The neoclassical, oligopolistic and neo-Schumpeterian microeconomic paradigms are adopted as the scientific structure of analysis. As a result, a systemic representation of creative process is elaborated from the definition of the term economic creativity.
