How can the Family Health Strategy be considered a tool to support the fight against COVID-19?

COVID-19 is a single-stranded, ribonucleic acid virus, responsible for producing an influenza-like syndrome. It appeared in December 2019, in the Hubei region, China. This virus has spread throughout the world and today is a global pandemic, due to its rapid form of transmission and worsening in predisposed people. The professionals of the Family Health Strategy carry out an active search in the community of possible cases of flu syndrome and seek prevention and isolation, the manuals of national and international bodies, in addition to monitoring each case and the evolution, with the aim of main function, in this current pandemic, to track new cases of flu syndrome, suspected or positive cases for COVID-19, isolate these users at home, carry out family monitoring and guidance for family members and caregivers.
