The research aims to investigate the panorama of publications related to the integration of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in basic education. A systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted covering publications indexed in CAPES Journals Portal and SciELO, with a time frame from 2014 to 2024 (last 10 years). After database searching, 1,400 studies were found. Applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, 524 studies remained for content analysis, revealing three analytical categories: relationship with the SDGs; educational context and basic education; and the importance of prior knowledge. After full reading, 13 articles were selected for presenting greater adherence to the topic under study. It was concluded that the integration of SDGs in basic education is promising yet still incipient and predominantly implicit in reported practices. The main barrier identified was insufficient teacher training on the 2030 Agenda, signaling a gap that demands specific continuing education policies.
